BIOGRAPHY

He graduated from SOTE in 1990. In 1995 he was neurologist and in 2000 he was a neurosurgery specialist. It also has an international pain therapist degree exam. He is also associated with the nationalization of a new neuromodulatory surgical method, the development of a new implantation method for epilepsy surgery and numerous scientific publications. His specialty is surgery for epilepsy, pain, movement disorders and spasticity, as well as neuromodulation.

He obtained his medical degree from the Semmelweis University of Medicine in 1990. In 1995 he was a neuroscientist and in 2000 he studied neurosurgery. In 2007, he was the first in the country to obtain the International Pain Clinic Examination (FIPP). He started his medical career in Budapest at the Department of Neurosurgery and Neurosurgery at the Central MÁV Hospital.

Dr. Eross has written two different Hungarian books, and is a author or co-author of sixteen international scientific publications. He is associated with the introduction of several new neuromodulatory analgesics and epilepsy examinations in Hungary and the development of an electrode implantation technique to assist in the precision of epilepsy surgery. His scientific work is characterized by a nearly 80 impact factor, 152 independent representations.

His field of research is experimental and clinical epilepsy, pain and dysfunctional disorders. His specialties include epilepsy, pain, motion disorders, neurosurgical treatment of spasticity and neuromodulation.
He teaches at Semmelweis University and Pázmány Péter Catholic University. He is involved both in graduate and postgraduate medical training. Organizer and regular lecturer of professional conferences and trainings. He is the home organizer of the World Institute of Pain International Conference of Pain and Training Courses, which is usually held in autumn in Budapest.

He has participated in several international study sessions in international neurosurgery: 1993 in London, 1995 in Zurich, 1996 in Aalborg, 1997 in Maastricht and Southampton, 1998 in Milan, Madeira, Cleveland, Little Rock, New Heaven in Connecticut, in 1999 in Barcelona, ​​in 2000 in Bielefeld, in Amsterdam in 2001, in Brussels in 2004, in Innsbruck, Nottingham, Toulouse, Montreux in 2005, in Morges in Switzerland in 2006, In 2007 he studied functional neurosurgery and associates in Nantes, Kiel and Amsterdam in 2009, in 2009 in Hanover, Göttingen and Prague.

He is involved in several domestic and international professional organizations. He is a member of the European Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery, the International Neuromodulation Society and the World Institute of Pain. He also participates in the Hungarian Anti-Epileptic League, the Society of Hungarian Neurosurgery, the Hungarian Neurosurgery Society, the Hungarian Parkinson’s Society and the Hungarian Pain Relief Society.
